Soundbath with Iain Ross of Glasgow Soundbath
Behind Glasgow Soundbath is Iain Ross who brings together many years of experience as a musician, sound therapist and healer to facilitate a heightened flow-state of alert presence and deep relaxation and we'd love you to join him to take some time out of your day!
What Is a Sound Bath?
A sound bath is a still, meditative experience where those in attendance are immersed in sound waves. These waves are produced by various instruments such as gongs, singing bowls, chimes, rattles and tuning forks. The music is a carefully selected wash of instrument sounds with soothing resonance and overtones. During the sound bath, participants lie comfortably on their backs or sit upright in chairs for the entire experience.

Wurlitzer Organ Performance with Iain McGlinchey
Join Iain for a family friendly hour of FUN cinema organ listening with the lights and purcussion intruments all giving it their all!
The Wurlitzer was originally installed at the Ritz cinema in Stockport. The Scottish Cinema Organ Trust (SCOT) then rescued and installed it at Clydebank Town Hall. Unfortunately, after being repeatedly damaged by flooding, it was lifted from the hall and now the organ lives happily and well played at Pollokshaws Burgh Hall. SCOT have asked for a donation and the remaining amount will go towards rescuing the hub!
